Admission Procedure

  • Applications for admission are made available in the prescribed form along with the prospectus at the institute.
  • Eligible candidates seeking admission to AME course should submit their application form completed in all respect, together with necessary documents, to the institute’s office as per the schedule issued by institute, which will be displayed on the institute’s notice board.
  • Foreign nationals & NRI candidates seeking admission to the course should submit the necessary security clearance document from Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India through DGCA.
  • Any application, which is incomplete or not accompanied by the prescribed documents, will be liable for rejection.

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized board in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). Candidates who have completed a diploma in engineering after 10th standard can also apply for the program. Additionally, some courses may have specific eligibility criteria such as age limit and medical fitness requirements.

Application Form:

Candidates can obtain the application form for admission either online or offline, from the official website or the college campus. They must fill the form with their personal details, educational qualifications, and other required information.

Documents Required:

The specific documents required for admission in Sha-Shib Aviation Academy in Kochi, may vary depending on the program and course of study. However, here are some general documents that are usually required

  • Date of Birth Proof i.e. S.S.C. Certificate/ Leaving Certificate (Two Self attested copies).
  • HSC/ Diploma Mark sheet (Three self-attested copies).
  • Original Character Certificate/ Leaving Certificate
  • Passport size photograph (Five Copies)
  • Other documents: Depending on the program and course of study, candidates may be required to provide additional documents such as medical fitness certificate, character certificate, transfer certificate, or any other relevant documents.

Entrance Exam:

Some courses may require candidates to appear for an entrance exam, which may test their knowledge in areas such as quantitative aptitude, reasoning, and English language skills.

Selection Process:

“FIRST COME FIRST SERVE” is the principle adopted by the authority of the Institute while providing admission to the selected candidates. (Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the entrance exam or Board Examination (if applicable) and/or their academic qualifications. Shortlisted candidates will be called for further rounds of selection, which may include group discussions, personal interviews, or other assessment tests.)

Admission Fee:

Candidates who clear all rounds of selection will be offered admission to the program. They will be required to pay the admission fee and complete the necessary documentation to confirm their admission
In case a student does not receive any information regarding his or her admission within 20 days after the submission of complete application form, he or she should immediately contact with the Institute authority either personally or through correspondence.
The candidate with outstanding qualification will always be preferred for admission

Admission for foreigners:

Admission for foreigners would be taken under the rule framed by the Govt. of India, State Govt. & DGCAfrom time to time. A security clearance should be obtained from the concerned embassy. Foreign student can obtain Prospects & Application Form on payment of US $ 100. NRI Sponsored candidate seeking admission should submit sponsor certificate if required along with the admission form as per Govt. /DGCA rules

Conduct of Students:

  • The following Rules & Regulations of Institute shall be observed strictly.
  • Every student will strictly adhere to the rules & regulation of the Institute. They should be neatly dressed. Students should maintain the Tuition Notes & Record of Practical Work up to date. Tuition Notes & Practical Records will be checked by the Instructor every month. He/She should have a set of their own A.M.E. text books related with their subjects & tool kits of their own.
  • When syllabus is completed as per the lesson planning, the students Tuition Notes & Workshop Records should be deposited to Training Manager ( T.M. ) for his scrutiny.
  • Late comers should report to the T.M. before entering classes. In the absence of T.M will deal with such cases & inform to the Training Manager. No student is allowed to leave class /workshop without the permission of the Instructor in-charge of the class/workshop superintendent.
  • All leave Application will be addressed to the T.M. who is the sanctioning authority. Students absent themselves without leave for more than a week should obtain the permission of the T.M before attending the next class. Minimum of 90% attendance is compulsory for every student to sit for the semester exam or he/she shall be debarred from the Exam.
  • In addition to our practical facilities students are required to pay the actual cost (which will be nominal) for the practicals if any arranged with other organisations.

Ragging:

Ragging among Junior & Senior Students is strictly prohibited with in & out of premises of the Institute. A cordial relation ship among the student is desirable & any violation of the disciplinary rules may put a student into a serious trouble.
